The band False Truth Started as a high school band back in 2008 when Matt Smith (singer/guitarist) moved to Ottawa, il and met Jonah Castelli (lead Guitarist). They became Great friends and started a band together and started writting music about a month later they met there Drummer Greg Brandt who had just left another band playing bass for them. Then one day Matt,Jonah, and Greg decided to call the band "False Truth" right after that they became Great friends with Nathan Baker who had been playing bass and he eventually joined the band.
