Bio

The Perthshire based 3-piece are breaking musical moulds with their unique sound. The band is fronted by singer and guitarist Calum MacInnes, who along with bassist Phil Thompson formed a band in 2003 in their native Black Isle in the Highlands, only to move to Perth for their college course a year later and start afresh with the arrival of drummer Graeme Wilkie. Since then the band have gigged non stop all over Britain, including venues such as the Glasgow Carling academy, the Exchange in Edinburgh, Fat Sams in Dundee and various band showcases in London.

Falter also has had large articles written about them in The Perth-Shire advertiser, Dundee’s own ‘is’ magazine, the Inverness Courier, ICA (Inverness City Advertiser) and the Ross-Shire Journal. They have also recently been invited to play a live session on Moray Firth Radio.

In their spare time the band work furiously to promote local music and develop the local scene running band nights and a fortnightly fanzine which is distributed in the surrounding area.

Disregarding all musical influences, they have created a sound that is entirely their own which is set to launch them into the limelight in 2007. Add to this the combination of outspoken friends, crunching guitar riffs and songs that don’t preach to the listener but simply observe.
