Familiar Noise is a band from upstate, NY. People often ask, “What kind of music does FN play?” The easiest answer to this question is “A little bit of everything.” The more complex answer is that FN is a melting pot of sounds ranging from rock, blues, a touch of reggae, and little bit of funk. Fans have said they play a little something for everyone. Familiar Noise consists of Shawn Foster on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bodie on lead guitar, keys, and backup vocals, Brian Foster on bass, and Brian Wells on drums. All of the members of Familiar Noise are skilled musicians and love to play. Their influences include Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Pink Floyd, Modest Mouse, and so much more.
