Fanaticus is from the suburbs of Cleveland, OH, and based in Chicago, IL. Starting out as a trumpet player at the age of 9, Fanaticus was always interested in music. He mostly played different forms of Jazz; spanning from Big Band to Latin Jazz (his favorite), and even some classical. He even taught himself the intro to Top Back by T.I. one day when he was bored in band class. He quickly caught onto musicality and music theory, and subsequently learned even more instruments; including drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard. As he grew older he began to foster that love for music into his love for hip-hop, growing up on Jay-Z, Pharrell, and Kanye West. His influences are Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Tyler, The Creator, and Childish Gambino, and also is influenced by a lot of jazz and contemporary R&B as well.
