Biography

Faraday' s Hotpress review, Jan '07 (Jackie Hayden)
Category: Music

Faraday's debut album is an impressive affair that improves with repeated
listening, bringing an adult perspective to Indie pop rock. 'We've Been
Sliding' starts well, and builds up to keep your interest, with a tough and
punchy sound. The lead vocals could be cleaner and more dominant in the mix
to help the melody stand out. 'Sweet Deceiving' is quite dynamic and overcomes its initial anonymity. 'Perfect' draws you in very easily from the start and it builds nicely. It has a strong melody, is well structured and sung with a lot of passion and emotion.

Faraday are a tight band, with a strong sense of
melody, with songs sung as if the singer is in tune with what the lyrics are about. Worth keeping both ears peeled for.
