Biography

We are just in Richmond VA trying new stuff and writing some exciting and "different" songs. We work very hard at it, and have more fun than anyone we know of.
But we are all workers/students and not a performing unit at this time.

Lost Girls Of Sudan

Written By: Ronnie

LOST GIRLS OF SUDAN (Run Run Run)
Little Lost Girl, where do you think you're running to?
There's no place that wants you.
There's no place that you need to be.
So Run. Run. Run.
Little lost girl, your world's not the place it ought to be.
Where do you think you're running to?
There's no place that wants you.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.

Little lost girl, don't think of running to Khartoum.
No one will help you in Khartoum.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.
No one will help you in Khartoum.

Desert gonna burn you. Soldier gonna rape you.
Lion gonna eat you.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.
Desert gonna burn you. Soldier gonna rape you.
Lion gonna eat you.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.

Little girl, don't think about running to Khartoum.
Someone will sell you in Khartoum.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.

Your mama made you tight so your man would love you more.
That's why the soldier chases you.
Allah made you sweet so the lion would eat you.
Everybody wants a piece of you.

Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.
Everybody wants a piece of you.
Run. Run. Run.

Desert gonna burn you. Soldier gonna rape you.
Lion gonna eat you.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Desert gonna burn you.
Soldier gonna rape you. Lion gonna eat you.
There ain't no place for you.
Run. Run. Run. Run. Run. Run.

Run. Run. Run.

Your Black Hat

Written By: Ronnie

      YOUR BLACK HAT
I put on your black hat, the one you gave to me.
Thought I'd be downtown, like we used to be.
All I met was faces, of friends we thought we knew,
Friends who couldn't see me without you.
They couldn't recognize me without you.

I put on your black hat, I wear it every day.
When I go downtown, where we used to play.
All I see is faces, of almost friends we've known.
Smiling like they'd rather be alone.
Without you, I'm someone they used to know.

I still wear your black hat, it's like a part of me.
I still wear your black hat, it's all you left for me.

I put on your black hat, everywhere I go.
To live our beat. To feel our rock and roll.
All I see is faces, of friends we never knew.
Friends who know I'm no one without you.
They'll never recognize me, without you.
I still wear your black hat.
I still wear your black hat.
I still wear your black hat.
I still wear your black hat.

LUNATICS ARE COMING OUT TONIGHT

Written By: Ronnie

LUNATICS ARE COMING OUT TONIGHT
The situation don't look too good tonight.
There's gonna be a full moon tonight.
I'd stay at home, if I could, tonight,
there's gonna be a full moon tonight.
I feel it coming, there will be strangers out tonight.

Every strange thing that you see. Every act of lunacy,
happens in this lunar glow, where they come from, I don't know,
but it must be lunacy.

Lunatics are coming out tonight.
It's a full lunar situation, tonight.
Strange goings on, will go on tonight,
there's gonna be a full moon tonight.

Every stranger that you know, comes out in this lunar glow.
Every strange thing happens when,
there's a full moon out again,
and when it's full, they all know!

Lunatics are coming out tonight.
It's a full lunar situation, tonight.
Strange goings on, will go on tonight,
there's gonna be a full moon tonight.

The Great American Drive-In Cars

Written By: Ronnie

THE GREAT AMERICAN DRIVE IN CARS
Drivin' to the drive-in in a '57 Ford.
Stayin until 2 in the mornin'.
All they had was dreams and half a dollar in their jeans.
Fallin so in love, in the back seat of a 57 Ford.
Wasn't Jesus there, in their '57 Ford?
Didn't Jesus hear every prayer they ever said
watching Elvis movies, in the back seat of their '57 Ford?

Grandpa was suspicious, but he never said a word.
Grandma knew that Jesus would be with them.
All they had was dreams like the world has never seen.
Falling so in love, in the back seat of a '57 Chevrolet?

Wasn't Jesus there, in their '57 Chevrolet?
Didn't Jesus hear every word they'd ever pray
watching Elvis movies in the back seat of a '57 Chevrolet?

Now it might notta been a Ford or a Chevrolet
It mighta been something we never even heard of today,
It mighta been an old Hudson,
Or a Studebaker,
Or maybe it was
An old Packard monster
with automatic load leveling.
But it was an American car.
It sure was an American car.

Wasn't Jesus there in their '57 Ford?
Didn't Jesus hear every word they'd ever pray?
Watching Elvis movies, in the back seat of a '57 Ford.
Watching Elvis movies, in the back seat of a '57 Chevrolet.

Adrenaline *Pumpin All Night Long)

Written By: Ronnie

  ADRENALINE (Pumpin' All Night Long)
Here comes that feelin' it will carry me through
Just another night out on the town without you.
I can feel it comin', and it's comin' on strong.
I can feel it pumpin' and it feels so good
It must be wrong.
It must be wrong.

Losin' my conscience, I'm without you again.
All night long it's pumpin, and it feels good again.
I can feel the action and it's comin' on strong.
I can feel it pumpin' and it feels so good it must be wrong.
It must be wrong. It must be wrong.

I gotta keep the action pumpin' all night long.
I gotta keep it pumpin' all night long.
It feels so good I know it must be wrong.
It must be wrong. It must be wrong. It must be wrong.
I gotta keep it pumpin' all night long.
All night long. All night long.
All night long.

LITTLE RED CAR

Written By: Ronnie

LITTLE RED CAR THE SONG
I see you drivin' by where I've been.
Then I see you drive by again and again.
I'm wonderin who you are.
I swear I don't know.
But I think I'd love it, in your little red car.

I heard our song--it's me and you.
When I see you drive by, I sing it for you.
I'm wonderin' who you are.
I swear I don't know.
But I think I'd love it, in your little red car.

I'm higher than a rocket on the 4th of July.
My fuse is burning for you.
I'm hotter than a firecracker--I'm gonna go boom.
My fuse is burning for you.

I see you drivin' by where I've been.
Then I see you drive by again and again.
I'm wonderin' where you go,
I swear I don't know.
But I think I'd love it in your little red car.
I think I'd love it in your little red car.

Discography

Years ago I wrote a song that was given a lot of airplay in Missouri. Other than this, I have only recently, since early retirement from the railroad, begun writing again. I have several hundred songs and nearly a thousand poems, so have been busy.
