Bio

A child of the 70’s, Farenheit brings a lifetime of creativity – from the graphic arts to acting – to his eclectic musical brew. His avant-garde self produced debut album ‘Fringe To Fore’ (Mystic Urchin Music) landed him on the cover of music industry Bible Billboard Magazine, which saluted him for his innovative blending of musical genres, edgy yet soulful stylings, and infectious bedroom melodies.

In 2002 Farenheit lent his vocal and writing talent to the multi-ethnic production ‘Adelante’ (Forward Recordings), also featuring fellow Jamaican artiste Ky-Mani Marley, released in France to great commercial and critical success. He debuted in theatre as lead singer in an HIV awareness musical staged in South Africa, then followed this impressive turn with roles in Jamaican plays “Against His Will”, “Dirty Diana”. He also co-starred in “Redemption” alongside noted Jamaican actor Paul Campbell (“The Lunatic”, “Dancehall Queen”, “Shottas”) and “Goat Head”, also featuring Paul Bucknor, and is a recurring character on the hit Jamaican television series “Royal Palm Estate”.

With his sophomore album “Port Antonio Virgin”, Farenheit will take his multi-textured Jamaican Pop sound – described by critics as “deep R&B chocolate with reggae and dancehall sprinkles” – from Kingston to the world at large.
