"Farewell to February"

"Farewell to February, a young melodic alternative band out of Northwest Indiana, are jumping into the scene with full force. These boys are not your typical cover band and believe me that's nothing to shun at. These guys are passionate, sylish, and polished with this newer and highly sought after brand of original rock. They bring it loud and hit the crowd with their fun and intense stage presence."...."If you want to see a band that will leave you lingering, check these guys out. They just have an all around good energy. Also check out www.farewelltofebruary.com for shows, mp3's, and more info."
Story by Michelle Kafantaris - N.W. Indiana Music Scene Magazine

"Original and Refreshing"

"Very original and refreshing to my ears....Each song is very well written, well performed, and well produced. I can only describe how i feel about this demo in three words-I dig it!
Cd review by Rachel Komar - Midwest Beat Magazine

"Show Review"

"Their shows are enhanced by the amount of energy the band has, idividual talent, and the awarness that occurs between band mates once they have been on stage together over any amount of time."
Frank Haugee, Page Editor - Andrean Acropolis

"Basements of Broadway Demo Review"

The combined talents of Farewell to February make a solid Alternative band with Chris Mayer and Tony Pagorek pumping out some strong guitar licks as well as Tim Peeler’s solid bass. Nick Bittick’s drumming is really good—(it’s so nice to hear a REAL drummer and not a machine)! Nothing really negative about their musical talent at all. Well seasoned musicians for their age...Tony's lyrics throw me in a direction I didn't expect...the realization of how really smart the lyrics really caused me to sit up and take notice.
This band has a good solid start in their songwriting. If they can get their musical hooks as sharp and edgy as the lyrics in the future—FTF will gain that unique edge they need to stand out in a sea of Alt Rock. So far so good. Keep up the good work... the sound quality, mix and professionalism of the band were top notch.

I have to make a confession. Tony Pagorek is a smart lyricist that made me think and ask questions that it hurt this middle aged brain of mine, but in the long run it was well worth it... Is that a good or bad thing that it takes a while to get something? Neither. It’s just a style that makes this band stand out in crowd. Tony is the driving force as to what makes this band’s songwriting stand out and for that reason alone, getting their music at any time would be a cool addition to any CD collection. Music that makes you think—and takes a stand—is good music in my book.

This band has a strong, solid sound now...Farewell to February is already making a good strong impression; let’s hope they can find a way to make it last a long time! Check out this band for yourself and be a part of the beginning of a strong, smart band.

Feeling a bit camera shy

Farewell to February was started as a solo project by front man Tony Pagorek. After meeting drummer Nick Bittick and adding origianl bass player Tim Peeler and current guitarist Chris Mayer the band began to write, record, and tour. After Tim left the band to get married FTF found Current bassist Bret Smolinski. With a solid line up the 4 have never looked back taking stage after stage by storm and leaving their fans exstatic with their high energy performance. FTF has one goal, to make music they love, and to tour the world playing it.
