"Shoehornin' Our Way In" was our First CD in 2008, recorded at PopSmear Studios in San Rafael, CA. Those track had our previous drummer. With the addition of STEELY on Drums, we're planning on recording "Naked With A Machine Gun" at the same location, as well as re-recording "Shoehornin'" in Summer 2010.

FASTEST GUN ALIVE began in 2007 from remants of other North Bay bands.
VAMPIRE MYK (Lead Vocals/bass) is a veteran of P VAMPIRE and FREAK SHOW, and has toured internationally.
STEELY (Drums) has played in MURPHY'S GARAGE, MUTE DOG, SHALLOW GRAY, and as a session drummer for MasterMind Productions.
CRAZY MIKE CONRAD (Guitar/B-Vox) has been the Lead Vocalist for 20 GRIT, played Bass in FIREBOX before joining FGA in 2007. he also has an intermittent solo project.
Our sound draws from various influences. VAMPIRE MYK draws influences from Danzig, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, The Cult, Queen, Metallica, Queens Of The Sone Age and many more.
Steely draws influences from Tool, Soilwork, Rush, Breaking Benjamin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes, Slayer, Dream Theater, Dillenger Escape Plan, Led Zeppelin, Lacuna Coil, Lamb Of God, Meshuggah and many others.
Crazy Mike's influences include AC/DC, Early Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, G n R, Ozzy Osbourne, Tesla, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Candlebox, STP. Mother Love Bone, and others...
With Vampire's Goth leanings, Steely's Metal preferences, and Crazy Mike's Old School and Grunge influences, FASTEST GUN ALIVE blends our individual influences seamlessly into hard driving, powerful songs full of raw energy.
VAMPIRE MYK uses Jim Searles and Guild Basses, Mesa Boogie Amplification, and Shure Microphones.
STEELY insists on Pearl Drums and Hardware, Zildjan Cymbals, Aquarian Drum Heads, and ProMark Sticks.
CRAZY MIKE CONRAD uses Carvin Guitars, Amplification, and Pro Sound products; as well as Boss, Rocktron, and Morley Effects.
