It is said that once you make a decision, Fate sets you on a path to make it happen. Well this was definitely the case for the Country Pop duo Fates Crossing. In early 2012, Alyssa and Justin met randomly through a Craigslist post, one month before Alyssa was set to perform her own headlining gig. With much dedication and preparation the two practiced non-stop for their first show at the House of Blues. It was as if we had been playing for years, we almost immediately clicked, Alyssa beams about Justin.
Months later, the duo is currently working on their first album and is looking to establish a full band soon. Their music is a different take on Country, adding flares of Pop and Rock while still capturing the essence of story-telling that Country music is known for. Music for Fates Crossing is about the expression of daunting hardships, love, and happiness life brings to each one of us. Its about the Fate of crossing paths with different individuals and creating music that everyone can relate to. Be on the lookout for this upcoming duo, they will be crossing your path very soon!
