The face of Righteousness N Omri are a talented father and son Rastafarian duo from Toronto, Canada, specializing in conscious hip hop and reggae music. They have been a team from 2005 and now both veterans in the business are ready to show the world what they have to contribute to the music industry. " I AM THE FADA - I AM THE SON - NOW WE READY FI BUS OUT LIKE BULLET N GUN" Righteousness N Omri.

Omri Emanuel Brown was conceived in
St. Mary, Jamaica but born in Toronto, Canada on September 20, 2000. He had his
first mouthful of the big stage at the age of five, after his father Docta
Peppa at the time now Righteousness gave him an invitation to perform with
him at Culturefest and he did not turn it down. From Omri hit the stage he
was ready and he has never looked back since. He wowed the patrons with his
stage presence and dancing moves fresh from Jamaica and even signed some autographs
for fans.

started his acting career with a guest appearance in the 2009 HBO production
The yard. It was really a fluke how he got that role but this is what actually
happened his cousin Kofi Payton who was casted for the production had an agent
who met Omri and invited him for an audition the following day. If that was not
enough add in a brand new script and an African accent while in the final week
of rehearsal for an upcoming stage play. Needless to say Omri got the part and
was 2 Actra credits away from being a professional actor.  In the yard Omri played a South African
immigrant who was having difficulties making a smooth transition to life in the
western world.

Omri later made a cameo appearance in
international TV series Rookie Blue in 2011. In Rookie Blue Omris character
was Corey, an assistant to the priest of a church that was caught in a classic battle
of good and evil between the church and the streets.

In 2012 Omri was special guest on a
series of shows in Jamaica such as Rastafest and Sistafest to the delight of
all in attendance. On the local music scene Omri has performed at Cameron
house, Hoop Dome, Six Degrees, Rastafest, The block party, Lambadina lounge, Dundas square, Royal Fairmount York Hotel, York Woods
library theater  and a live TV performance alongside Righteousness on Toronto

"Omri is my name remix" was released in 2013 to fantastic reviews and help to secure 25 performances over the summer and the music video garnered over 50,000 views on you tube.

Omri now 13 and in grade 8 is
currently signed to Elite Media Productions and in the studio working on some
new material for his upcoming mix tape to be released in the summer of 2014. Fans
can check out this budding star at Tribute to Nelson Mandela February 18, 2014 at JCA Center in Toronto. Look out for . Check the

Live togather

We can’t get no where unless we live together
We can’t get no where unless we uplift each other
We can’t get no where unless we live in unity
We can’t get no where unless jah fill us with his mercy

Verse 1

This is righteousness the kid on the block
And this one is called the war has to stop
If the war don’t stop the whole world gonna drop
Violence is a universal problem so accept the fact
Please do me a favor and stop blaming it on blacks
Too much racism feels like the world going to pop
Crowd of people can u imagine that
Now it’s time for everybody to get involved
If you don’t put out the effort the problems not gonna be solved
So I want everybody in Toronto tonight
Take righteousness foolish advice
Do me a favor and grab hold of your life and donate it to the most I

Verse 2

Toronto use to be a city of people with pity
Now the youths using gunshot to give man hicky
Turn left and right all I see is pure sissy
Politician comes in with their messed up policy
To add to the problems police don’t respect we
Can’t chill out on the block and burn my cenci
Talk about we get freedom but nothing is for free
So the youths are fighting for the right to party
But righteousness is searching for the almighty

Verse 3

We searching for peace but no peace not there (dey dey)
The worst place to find peace is when you listening to reggae
I searched in Scarborough but I didn’t find none
All I found was some bad breed children with guns
I searched Jane and finch I see some much guns rinse
I searched Regent Park they use gunshot to talk
These youths now a days swear they living in New York
Search in Brampton it was pure mad man
I wonder how come they are black and related to saddam
Down by Eglin ton has couple foundation
So the youth down there don’t get 2 out of hand
Flemingdon have some youths that act like they’re men
As they reach 14 they start to gang bang
Look on the street corner you see them a hang
Parma court has some youths holding the wrong note
That’s why lots of them start sinking like a boat
Search in rexdale they have badness for sale
But when I search mount Zion
I found the almighty on
So it’s there righteousness decide to jam

Gonna be a star

Righteous muss buss in god I trust
I put him fuss (1st) yeah ehh yeah
Whole world gots to know exactly how I flow
New youth from Toronto and this is how it goes

One day I’m gonna be a star
Shining all so bright
My name gonna be in the spotlight
People love my music from all walks of life
Even though nothing not going on so far one day righteous gonna be a star
Now I’m walking one day I’ll be driving
Ain’t no diving I’m just surviving
I’m just organizing and devising my plan
That’s one day gonna make me a rich man
Financial freedom is something I dream of
But it’s something that I rarely speak of
Hit rock bottom and there’s no one around
So I guess I gotta do it on my own
I’m not gonna sit down and take it negative
Because righteousness has nuff life to live
Whole heap of blessings to give to all my relative
So progressive always seeking knowledge
Got determination and god on my team
So it’s not impossible to achieve my dream
Righteousness say

Verse 2

I pick up my bible read a psalm to keep me calm
Life is messed up but it still goes on
How much my life has changed since my son was born
Lots of my bad habits just pack up and gone
In times like these I have to go down on my knees
Ask the most I protect me from my enemies
Ask him to guide me give me the strength I need
Certain things I’ve been through really makes my heart bleed
But I keep going on ain’t no giving up
Times of suffixation I’ve had enough
Time to start living financially secure
I’m ready for my share I don’t want nothing more

Verse 3

I got bills to pay and no money in my pocket
I sit down and wonder how I’m gonna make it
Turn to the most I he said righteous don’t sweat it
All who fight against you gonna live to regret it
Just make sure your foundation is solid when you set it
At first not matter how people may take it
One day this world will have to accept it
They’re gonna respect it and start to select it
When that happens that means you’re hitting the main stream
Collecting the green everybody wants to be on your team
Lots of human being not going to live clean
Beware of them because they’re always on the scene

Verse 4

I don’t know about you but I got plans
Only two hands soon millions of fans
Me and my bands touring distant lands
For truth and rights righteousness take a stance
Hypocritical backstabbers giving you one last chance
If you mess it then you can’t advance
So consider this your last dance
I will not allow you to distract me
I will fight against those who try to attack me
Some try flopping me but the most I back me
I’m gonna be a star you can stand there and watch me
I’ve done my work it’s time to collect my prize
No matter what the shape or size
In these time artist spiting pure irrelevant rhymes
Every song they do committing musical crimes
But one day, one day righteousness says

1)Badness nuh wear pan face - bass records 1998 -7"
2) a)12 sket - b)jerry springer - bass records 1998 7"
