MY
NAME IS OMRI

Omri Emanuel Brown was conceived in
St. Mary, Jamaica but born in Toronto, Canada on September 20, 2000. He had his
first mouthful of the big stage at the age of five, after his father Docta
Peppa at the time now Righteousness gave him an invitation to perform with
him at Culturefest and he did not turn it down. From Omri hit the stage he
was ready and he has never looked back since. He wowed the patrons with his
stage presence and dancing moves fresh from Jamaica and even signed some autographs
for fans.

Omri
started his acting career with a guest appearance in the 2009 HBO production
The yard. It was really a fluke how he got that role but this is what actually
happened his cousin Kofi Payton who was casted for the production had an agent
who met Omri and invited him for an audition the following day. If that was not
enough add in a brand new script and an African accent while in the final week
of rehearsal for an upcoming stage play. Needless to say Omri got the part and
was 2 Actra credits away from being a professional actor.  In the yard Omri played a South African
immigrant who was having difficulties making a smooth transition to life in the
western world.

Omri later made a cameo appearance in
international TV series Rookie Blue in 2011. In Rookie Blue Omris character
was Corey, an assistant to the priest of a church that was caught in a classic battle
of good and evil between the church and the streets.

In 2012 Omri was special guest on a
series of shows in Jamaica such as Rastafest and Sistafest to the delight of
all in attendance. On the local music scene Omri has performed at Cameron
house, Hoop Dome, Six Degrees, Rastafest, The block party, Lambadina lounge, Dundas square, Royal Fairmount York Hotel, York Woods
library theater  and a live TV performance alongside Righteousness on Toronto
Talent.

"Omri is my name remix" was released in 2013 to fantastic reviews and help to secure 25 performances over the summer and the music video garnered over 50,000 views on you tube.

Omri now 13 and in grade 8 is
currently signed to Elite Media Productions and in the studio working on some
new material for his upcoming mix tape to be released in the summer of 2014. Fans
can check out this budding star at Tribute to Nelson Mandela February 18, 2014 at JCA Center in Toronto. Look out for . Check the
