Bio
Michael Przada, aka Fatty Down, has been developing his style and abilities in hip hop for close to 16 years now. Born in Vancouver, B.C. and raised in Nanaimo, he grew up with influences from a variety of artists ranging from Cat Stevens, to Common, Big Pun and, Paul Simon to all kinds of Mo-Town artists. He believes and has been quoted to say When its part of who you are, everything happens naturally. Its like breathing to me.
A full biography of Fatty Down would fill countless pages, and the purpose of this is to not to detail his life, but to give you a small glance at what this artist has done and what he is about. He is about creating positive energy, and enjoying life and what he does. He channels himself into his music and if you know Fatty Down, you know that his genuine and authentic style is real, and apart of whom he is.
Fatty Down has worked with many reputable Canadian artists such as Moka Only, Moses Eisley of Sweatshop Union, Rob the Viking of Swollen Members, Jeff Spec, Ishkan, Zaki Ibrihim, Mills, amongst many others. In addition he has also collaborated with American artists such as The Living Legends / Lucky I Am PSC.
The title of his last solo album is Famous Nobody (which was written and recorded over a 7 day period), summing up his life right now. He has an amazing local support system and fan base in his home town Nanaimo, and as well a strong following in the Saskatchewan area from his time spent with Innersoul Flow, but hasnt had enough people hear him on a larger scale. He is on the verge of the tipping point right now and soon will be heard across Canada and beyond.
