Tracy Ewing is a native Carolinian who jump-started his career in early 1995 playing in local Charlotte based band, Triphammer. Tracy writes savvy lyrics and has very melodic voice tones along with a very charismatic stage presence. Couple this together with the raw-crunchy power of guitarist Bill Avery, The dramatic bass lines of bassist Dave Shaw and the powerful intricate rhythms of drummer Kenny Johnson, this is definitely a foursome that has undeniably powerful writing talents.

FearKnot’s debut album, Wiseman, on Front Porch Records, is a collection of powerful songwriting and melodic hooks. The overall theme of finding your place in the world has struck a chord with diverse audiences of all ages. The most important element is the passion that drives the band. Fearknot’s love for music resurfaces time after time in their songs, reaching out to their audience with a colorful style that will rock your bones. Now Fearknot is recording and promoting their debut EP with hopes of a chance at a showcase with a major label.
