Federica Daza

Finalist and semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting contest 2003 and 2009 respectively, Federica Daza is a new and refreshing artist that is getting the attention of many in the music world. Born and raised in Colombia, she began studying music at age five. Her life took an interesting turn when she moved to France in the spring of 1996. She then continued her musical studies at the conservatory, classical singing and symphonic percussion. As a Franco-Colombian singer-songwriter she has worked in different languages and performed in a variety of venues. She creates lyrics and harmonies that inspire and beats that move, all in a deep influence of Irish American music but also with a wider assortment of global music influences. At present, Federica Daza is performing her songs acoustically. Plans for getting a full band together with other talented artists are in full swing for later on in the year.
