"FeedBacK: Falling from Earth"

The Mans name is Feedback and damn...his album is DOPE!!!

I mean...it's r&b, it's pop, it's funk, it's rock, it's hip hop, it's electronic...and it's all those things blended extremely well, but in such a nonchalant, "matter of fact" way. He and Tunabutter, producer of the majority of the album besides 2 other beautiful songs from Paris Strother and JTronius, really developed a complimentary (keyword) chemistry with each other.

The most beautiful thing about the music is how the songs build. This is where a lot of records that come out these days instrumentally & vocally fail. They get stuck on stupid and wear out their welcome. With this Feedback album...now...even after the 10th listen...I'm still finding different stuff looming in the mix. It's a very enjoyable, audible easter egg hunt.

Now, what I listened to on this ride back to CT wasn't the final mix or sequence of the album, but if this is even remotely close to what the finished record sounds like...Y'ALL ARE IN FO' SOME SHIT!!!

Peep the myspace links for some of the ruff mixes to some of the songs

I don't know when this is gonna drop or what label it's gonna drop on....but GET READY NOW!!

Bio

To suggest that Leonard "Feedback" Washington loves music would be an understatement. As early as the age of 6, this young musician began to live music. With influences such as Prince, George Clinton, Bilal and Michael Jackson, Feedback is on with a sound that can only be created with the passion, hard work, patience and persistence behind this young force. This 23-year old singer/songwriter began honing his skill at church in his hometown of Orangeburg, South Carolina. By the time he was 8 years old, Feedback had credits under his belt such as a cameo appearance in Musical Porgy and Bess in Charleston, South Carolina and being selected to appear as a contestant on Showtime at the Apollo in Harlem, NY. He starred as the Scarecrow in The Wiz as a student in the Consortium for the Arts and danced with the Children's Performing Arts Academy for three years. At age 13, Feedback was selected to perform the national anthem before a full stadium of Red Sox fans. With all of this success, Feedback continued studying in his school choir who sang with Moses Hogan, doing various shows, state competitions and performances at any given opportunity in order to further enhance the progression of his apparent raw talent. By the time he completed high school, Feedback had been a member of the National Honors Society, Captain and President of various school organizations. Being a natural born leader is just one of the many layers of this up and coming performer. This young artist has performed all over the nation including New Orleans, New York, Boston and Georgia just to name a few. As a student at Berklee College of Music, FeedBack performed in all the largest shows. He's shared the stage with Richard Odom, Donnie, John Blackwell, Chaka Khan, Lalah Hathaway and Donald Lawerence.
