Bio
Felonious Bosch started out as a four piece instrumental band that focused on rocking out medieval music. We came from similar backgrounds, two members (Ric Lee and Scott Nieman) were members of a early music band called "seven thieves" and Drew Miller, from "Boiled in Lead", who had been working with Renee Bracchi in a band called "Helvetica Bold". Ric and Drew were both in a musical production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" now in its 13th year at the infamous First Avenue in Minneapolis.
After one year, and the start of an EP, Katy Thomasberg (who is "Jesus" in JCSuperstar) was invited to check us out and she added fiery lyrics to the instrumental tunes. That caught us by surprise and quickly more and more original tunes came into the band's sound. Scott and Katy have been continuously writing, with many of these tunes inspired by the medieval era, as well as some of our past influences in punk and classic rock such as Zep.
