FELSKINN - Four Are One
…so read the title of a live review of the band in a Swiss music magazine. The four musicians - Andy Portmann, vocals; Stefan
Schroff, guitar; Sarah Zaugg, bass; and Flavio Mezzodi, drums - form a compact and powerful band. Now they’re presenting
their new album.
The solid foundation of the trademark FELSKINN-Sound is best described as modern metal. Subtle influences from other
music styles are audible and give an interesting touch. On stage, the band catches the attention of the whole audience with a
high energy-performance.
The new album „Listen!“ was recorded in the summer of 2006 while the band was also playing numerous gigs. This enabled
FELSKINN to bring their complete live-energy to tape. The guitar player, Stefan Schroff, together with the rest of the band,
produced the album. Their holistic goal for the album was maintained by working intensively and critically without the
constraints of a tight time schedule.
The contents of „Listen!“ are very diverse and go from darkness and violence to beauty and light. All of which are represented
by catchy hooks, interesting grooves and heavy riffs!
Along with headlining their own shows FELSKINN has successfully supported well-known acts such as KROKUS, OOOMPH and
SHAKRA on their last tour!
Right now, FELSKINN is ready to hit the road again!
