Feltonia

Although she was born in Ohio her family relocated when she was very small, so Feltonia has always known Tennessee as home. With her mother being a Missionary and her father a full time Pastor and Evangelist she says it was like she was literally raised in the church. It was there that this soulful singer got her first opportunity to sing in front of an audience. Her mother who was a lead singer for the Atlanta based group "The Harmonizing Angels,"and her father being at one time over the music department for the Church of God in Christ it was no surprise that Feltonia began singing at a very early age. Around 7 years old she developed a passion to write. It was like freedom she states, she found a way to truly express herself in words and began writing poems and by the age of 10 she had written her first song. She and her sister were a part of a group of young talented girls who called themselves "Unity". After traveling with the group for several years and experiencing many challenges along the way, the greatest of them would prove to be the death of her mother at the tender age of 12. Despite the challenges that came her way she was determined to persevere. Now a mother, wife and singer extraordinaire. Feltonia resides in Nashville, TN. With her children and supportive husband by her side she has traveled the region spreading the message of hope and victory, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ through song. After performing at various Wedding,Showcases, and even working and on other Artist's Album, Feltonia felt it was time to embark on her own project. She has just completed her first single "Joy From That". Which she best describes it as her song of victory! She states," I wrote this song because I wanted share with others how God brought me out of some very diff icult situations even when I didn't think it was possible and when I look back I am just so overwhelmed with joy because I realize that it was only because of him that I was able to overcome." When asked if there was one thing that she would want people to know her about her, she states, "If people don't get anything else I would really like for them to know that this is ministry for me. Every song I sing, every melody I write it ministers to me first and I pray that it will minister to someone else. That's why I do this."
