Jax (Drums/l Performing since she was a child from actress/dancer to circus aerialist, Jax has always enjoyed doing the unexpected, so it's no wonder a drum kit was her instrument of choice. Jax has performed all around the country from Madison Square Garden to The LA Forum. She is a novelist and prolific songwriter who's musical genre leans toward Surf meets punk. While forming F.B.I., Jax was fortunate enough to find a great group of pro musicians and people, including Jimi Gee as lead guitarist...
Jimi (Lead guitar/music)
A consummate professional, with a unique guitar “finger style,” Jimi is also a native of New York, who studied with Alexander Bello and Pat O’Brien, and performed with Cher, Dolly Parton, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and the Shirelles, just to name a few. Though a rocker at heart, Jimi plays everything from Greek to Classical, Jazz to Broadway—including such shows as Man of Lamancha, Kiss Me Kate, and Dream Girls. An active member of the community, Jimi has worked with such organizations as Muscular Dystrophy, the Bradenton Chamber of Commerce, the Sarasota Downtown Association, the Sarasota Jazz Society, and the American Cancer Society and is a strong advocate for LGBT, reaching out to youth who suffer from GID. Widely accepted in Sarasota and Bradenton as one of the best classic rock guitarists around, Jimi is also a phenomenal music teacher at Fogt’s Music Store and musical director of the Sarasota Junior All Stars.
Jimi is endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars www.daisyrock.com. and Black Diamond Strings www.blackdiamondstrings.com.
Cat (Lead vocalist)
Born in Okinawa, Japan, Cat has been singing since she was a child, performing in such musicals. as Godspell, Guys & Dolls, Lil' Abner and Brigadoon. Cat performed in the Friday night show at a popular Boca Raton club where she gained a strong following, later going on to sing in a state contest at Motown Café in Orlando, where she took fourth place. She performed at the Delray Beach Garlic Festival in fall of 2000. After being asked to provide backup vocals for rap artist Butta Verses, Cat took a brief hiatus from performing to start a family. She continued to write and arrange songs as well as learn piano. Cat recently re-entered the music scene, joining FBI as lead vocalist.
Jenn (Bass/vocals)
Having played most of her adult life, Jenn views music as her therapy. Her style is hard rock and her influence mostly women rockers, admiring their ability to make it in a man's world. Jenn performed in an all-female cover band, and an original heavy metal band before finding her home with FBI, providing the bottom to their unique sound.
