Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Femke started writing songs when she was 18. She started to write for her band, Ambush, and with this band she performed on various stages in the Netherlands and Germany. She also writes for other artists, in different styles. She is also a very succesfull solo artist, and was a finalist in the Dutch Grand Prize, the UK Songwriting Contest, and she won the Trunk&Co songwriting contest. She got to record a single and a videoclip in Brussels, Belgium.
She also won a place in the top 10 of best singers for the Dutch Vocal Contest at www.vocalisten.nl.
After receiving a few dutch talent scholarships and a Fulbright scholarship, she is now studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
