Feeling a bit camera shy

Feral Ground is an idea. The name itself embodies the concept that this world we live in is not as tame and placid as some would like you to believe it is. Our self appointed task is to show you that you haven’t heard everything yet, hip hop is not dying, and that people can be influenced by music in a positive way. Feral Ground is more than just the sum of all its parts. Feral Ground is a new way of thinking. It is a way of thinking that is inclusive instead of exclusive, about family over the individual, about solutions beyond the problems, and most importantly, its about inspiring people to take control over their lives, and not their money. We are Feral Ground.

We do Hip Hop in a brand new way, we use a live four piece band that includes a drummer, a bass, guitar, and a dj to really bring that traditional Hip Hop to the stage. We're a melding of deep and meaningful lyrics delivered in a hip hop style, mixed with a live band that can bring in the living and improvisational "jam" style to the music. We deliver a show that breathes life into the audience by giving them a different show every time they come out to see us. Our vocalist are two male lyricist, and together they create a unique sound that you wont be able to get enough of!

So far we have grown a sizable following in the Metro Detroit area, and have done some light touring in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. We have our own tour bus, and are willing to tour anywhere in the country. We have opened up National shows for artist like Bubba Sparxxx, Afroman, Hush, George Clinton, and some others. Articles about us have appeared in publications by The Metro Times and Real Detroit, and events we have played at have been recognized by The Detroit Free Press, and Chanel 4 news.
