Bio
Jesse Burke (Fessional) grew up in a small enclave of summer cottages, blue collar homesteads, motor cycle gangs and a handful of well off baby boomers escaping the urban sprawl to the south. It is a small town with small town values . That knows how to party.
He was raised with old fashioned values of hard work and respect in this unique blend of humanity, nurtured by family that was anchored by a successful musician that played and toured extensively.
From this background Jesse has developed an exciting musical experience that provides a fresh blend of hip hop, reggae, rock and strong melodic pop hooks. The positive spin and infectious beats that characterize his musical appeal to a wide spectrum of fans .and he does it all. Jesse writes, performs all of the instruments, produces and records his own music. He loves an audience and his shows are an uplifting party that demands you leave your worries at the door.
In the summer of 2005 Jesse hooked up with hit producers the Boomtang Boys and recording artist Whitey Don (formerly with Jive) to re-mix a great tune named Summer Vibes. It became a summer hit at CHR and Hot AC formats in Canada and as a result Fessional has been nominated for CMRAs Best New Group or Solo Artist (Dance, Urban, Rhythmic). The Boomtang Boys have identified another dozen tunes from the more than 80 Jesse has already composed and demod that would make a great album. Were looking for the right record label to join the team and enjoy the benefits of working with a great young Canadian artist.
