"FevaMode at the House of Blues"

Yesterday I went to the House of Blues on Sunset to see a friend of mine's band: FevaMode. I had just checked them out online for about a week and all of their songs were so good that I had to check them out live.

I had never been there so it was really cool. The bar is called the Foundation Room and normally its a membership only bar/lounge. The bar was beautiful! The ceiling, the fireplace, the whole vive was really cool. There were a few other acts performing that night so it was really packed.

The band that was there to see played in the more intimate area called the Parish room. They were incredible!

The songs that they played were:
1. All Wrapped Up
2. It's My Business (Crazy Tonight)
3. Love Radio
4. I Couldn't Tell
5. Turn It Up [They debuted this new song that night]
6. Don't Forgive Me
7. You Make Me Sick
8. TFG (Too F**kin Good)

They started their performance with the song 'All Wrapped Up.' This is one of my favorites!!

My other favorite songs were 'You Make Me Sick' and 'TGF'.

They were so energetic and you can tell they really love what they do which made for such a great performance.

Check them out! Seriously they are really cool! Here is where you can hear more:

"FevaMode Gets Naked"

The simply amazing brother duo FevaMode released their music video for the hit song "Just to Get You (Naked)" this morning and I have to say it is RAD. This song will take you back to summer mode immediately, who can complain about that? It's fun, it's cute, it's flirty, it's catchy...shall I go on? I have to say I love the song and the video is awesome. The song will be available on iTunes this Friday 9.21.12 #GetNaked - Buzznet

"FevaMode Live At The Roxy Feb 21"

So on Thursday, Feb 21, I had the chance to go watch an up and coming band, FevaMode, perform at The Roxy in Hollywood. I've been friends with these guys for a while and was excited to see what they have been working on for so long finally come to life. Their music is definitely something you can dance to with your friends, jam out to in your car or belt the lyrics out all night long after a break up. They have a very powerful pop-rock sound with a whole lot of feel-good vibes. You just can't help but groove to the music when it comes on. They remind me of Maroon 5 meets Neon Trees meets AWOL Nation, it's awesome.

The night started out at The Roxy where they performed with other notable bands such as, The Shakers. It was an absolutely amazing night and the crowd rocked! FevaMode's performance blew me away and had everyone in the crowd dancing. There was even a surprise cameo appearance made by FevaMode's bear who also appeared in their newest music video, TFG, he is such a cutie! The bear got everyone moving and was one of my favorite parts of the night. The band really fed off the crowd and each others energy which was amazing.

FevaMode sounded fantastic and it was such a fun night! I can't wait until their next show! You can check out some of the pics from gallery the below. These guys are also on Twitter and Facebook, of course, so go check them out! - Buzznet

"Catch the Feva(Mode)"

What is better than two total babes? Two total babes who are brothers. What is better than two total babes who are brothers? Add a set a drums and some killer vocals and you have your answer, FevaMode.

Now as an LA transplant, I’m still trying to get my feet wet with what some of the rad things to do are. Then my fabulous friend Callina (check her out, she’s a total dream) turned me on to this rockin’ band that is taking the stage THIS weekend.

The show will be held at the classic music hotspot The Viper Room and tickets are a mere $10 in advance and $15 if you buy them at the door (but why would you wait?). Join some friends and myself for a night of music and magic. If you are coming RSVP here and let's be friends.

Be sure to LIKE them on Facebook and FOLLOW them on Twitter. Because, why not? - Buzznet

"FEVAMODE LIVE @ THE ROXY 2/21/13"

Electro-pop rock band Fevamode had an incredible performance at L.A.'s premier historic venue, The Roxy, on Thursday, February 21. Front man, Casey Sullivan, came on stage with so much energy and excitement that it got the eagerly anticipated crowd even more amped up. With Chris Ring on guitar and Michael Sullivan on drums, Fevamode was really to bring The Roxy house down! The band wasted no time and went right into their first song "All Wrapped Up" from their set list. We wouldn't mind wrapping ourselves up with any of these guys. Through out the whole show, Casey gave the audience quite a show going from one side of the stage to the other and looking at all the lovely ladies in the crowd right in their eyes. Chris worked the stage with his mad guitar riffs and Mkey (sugar) banged the hell out of those drums. It certainly didn't hurt that he was quite adoreable doing so. What is it with me and drummers?!? Right? The band even had a special appearance by the Fevamode Bear who stormed the stage and made all the plushies' fantasies come true. Check out this video of Fevamode giving the crowd their all!

Complete set list include

All Wrapped Up
Crazy Tonight
I Couldn't Tell
Love Radio
You Make Me Sick

"[WATCH] FEVAMODE - JUST TO GET YOU (NAKED) MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE!!!"

Check out the brand spanking new music video for "Just To Get You (Naked)" from FevaMode! We featured this single in last week's Hump Day Mix and now we have an accompanying (and mighty sexy) video. The song is taken from their debut album, BORN 2B LOUD. This L.A. based pop-rock brother-duo team are cute beyond words. Ok, so that's a little biased since we're friends with Case Feva (lead vocals) and Mick Mode (drums, vocals). But even if we weren't friends with these guys, we'd still feel the same way. Their music video is fun and flirty with a total summer vibe going on. I would describe their sound and energy as a cross between LMFAO and 3OH!3. The single will be available on iTunes on Friday, 9/21. Be sure to check it out! #GetNaked - SugarBang

"[WATCH] FEVAMODE - T.F.G. (TOO F**KIN' GOOD) - MUSIC VIDEO"

Back in September we introduced you guys to the electro-pop duo brothers band, Fevamode. The boys are back with another awesome music video for their next single "T.F.G. (Too F**kin Good)." The song is catchy and kind of perfect to start thinking about summer time. I love the fun energy in Fevamode's videos. They recently performed a great show at MJ's on Sunday and will have another show at The Roxy this Thursday. We're excited to go cheer these guys on (and hopefully see some nakedness). But in the mean time, we'll just have to watch this video over and over because it's "too f**kin good" not to!

"The Hype Magazine Interviews with FevaMode"

Who is FevaMode, and where are you from?

FevaMode is Casey "Case Feva" on lead vocals, and Michael "Mick Mode" Sullivan on drums and vocals. We are two brothers originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts (north of Boston) and we currently live in Los Angeles, California. We define our music as dance/punk, a fuse between pop/punk like The Used and Neon Trees meets mainstream pop radio.

How did you discover your musical talent?

Case: We discovered our musical talent when we started a band at age 12 (Mick) and 13 (Case), not knowing that in the future we would drop every other activity just to pursue our talent. Our talent has grown over time with a passion for melody, songwriting, and uptempo live performance.

Who has been your greatest inspirations musically and why?

Mick: In the early days, we loved pop/punk like MXPX and Blink 182, and just about any band signed to Drive Thru Records. It was all about fast and hard music, but we always gravitated towards songs that had strong vocal performances. We grew up hearing a lot of classic rock from our parents, and without a doubt credit the long running band Queen for inspiration when it comes to songwriting, work ethic (they released new albums every 9 months!) and stage performance.

What do you feel you offer the music industry that we don't already have in other performers?

Case: We bring to the industry a fresh spin on electronic music with live instrumentation. Every band wants to revolutionize pop culture in some way with their music, our twist of electronic meets pop/punk has yet to be fused the same way by any other artist. At first glance our music is comparable to Calvin Harris, Neon Trees and Imagine Dragons, but we add a twist of teenage angst and honesty to our lyricism and an overall positive and empowering message at our live performances through crowd interaction.

Have you encountered any problems in getting to this point in your career?

Mick: In the spring of 2009 we signed with an independent production team in Los Angeles (that shall not be named). We started recording an EP, then that was decided to be a full length album, and speed to almost two years later, the album was still being mixed, and not to our liking. A series of mixing engineers were brought into the studio, essentially to help us achieve the sound we wanted, but it caused bad blood with the original producer, who kept changing everything back to what he wanted. It circled like this for about a year, and you can only take so much before you settle and go, "just release the thing", but that's no way to feel about your work. Long story short, we broke off from this production team, changed our name to FevaMode and began recording and producing ourselves in our home studio (as well as other artists in just about all genres).

What do you want people get from your music?

Case: We want people to get the feeling of excitement they got when they were young and in love, or young and reckless, or just the overall ability to take it on the surface and get up and dance.

When can we expect some new music from you?

Mick: We just released an EP called "Born 2B Loud" for free download on our official website (www.fevamode.com)! You get 8 songs and a digital booklet with the download. You can expect to see a video for "You Make Me Sick" by October!

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

Case: This year we were nominated for Best Pop Single for "TFG (Too F**kin' Good)" by the Los Angeles Music Awards and also nominated for Best Pop Artists by the 2014 Artists In Music Awards.

If you could collaborate with one artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Mick: Ke$ha. She's crazy, she's fun, she writes her own material and doesn't care what people think about her. We'd pull the rock star out of the pop star and vise versa.

One track of yours that you think defines you and why?

Case: "Just To Get You Naked" defines us best because of its clever concept that tells of two lovers, friends or friends with benefits that sometimes know when they're thinking the same thing without saying it. The version of the song on our album "Born 2B Loud" we consider the "Dance-punk" remix and carries the tune of a more edgy pop-punk song with traces of electro and dub all over the place. The original version (heard in the music video released a year ago) takes more influence from pop and reggae and is driven with electronic drums, a huge bass, and a ukulele. The remix was essentially to modernize a song we love and define it with our current sound. All in all its a fun track with a great melody, clever message and an energetic instrumental. Wrap it with a bow, or in this case kick it in the ass.

Last but not least, HYPE wants to know...What's your CRAZIEST "Where they do that at?!" moment...

Mick: I'd say to - The Hype Magazine

"FEVAMODE WANTS TO GET YOU NAKED"

FEVAMODE WANTS TO GET YOU NAKED

By Jennifer Buonantony

PPLA recently caught up with Indie Pop Duo FevaMode to talk about the release of their new album Born To Be Loud and catchy single "Just To Get You (Naked)". We sat down with brothers Casey "Case Feva" and Michael "Mick Mode"Sullivan to talk about their fun, playful sound. Any band that is ballsy enough (no pun intended) to title their track "Just to Get You (Naked)" and then pose nude on the beach has got to be worth a look and listen!

Don't be fooled by their youthful presence, Fevamode can hold their own onstage and has already played popular LA venues including the House of Blues Sunset and The Viper Room. In fact, their onstage artistry has been compared to more established artists like Maroon 5, Foster the People, and LMFAO.

We caught up with this duo just in time for the release of their new work. Enjoy our 'Take Five' with Fevamode:

PPLA: When did you know you wanted to pursue music?

FEVAMODE: When we were kids, our mom blocked MTV from our television because she thought it was too explicit. The only time we could sneak and watch it was after school at our Grandmother's house. It was so intriguing cause the videos were so cool and we felt like we were doing something we weren't supposed to do, which is always better than being well behaved. I was so attracted to these bands and became so intrigued by music videos and these eccentric performers. Little did I know, it was the driving factor to start playing drums and starting a band at twelve years old! It's funny looking back because me and Feva became really serious about pursuing a music career right when we started playing instruments. Our weekends became 'we're having band practice and playing a show', yet we were young teenage kids who had never stepped on a stage in our lives. Over the ten years of playing various venues, recording five full length records, and five Ep's, it's really become second nature to us to pursue music and perform full time, everyday.

PPLA: Is this your first album? I know you were once signed to a label, what has been your career path to get you to this point?

FEVAMODE: As FevaMode, yes, this is our first album. Born To Be Loud is the name and it's our proudest work to date. I'm beyond excited for the world to hear this album. Before we got to this point, we recorded various records and EPs, mostly independent stuff we paid for with our own money. We would sell CD's at shows with artwork that I photoshopped or just burn sampler CD's and give them away. It was very DIY makeshift stuff, but we always felt we had to leave the fans with something tangible to bring home and remember us by. As far as how we got to where we are now... when we moved to LA in 2009, we worked with an independent label and recorded a full length record. As we got closer to the release almost two years later, it was apparent they didn't have the right promotional plan to support the launch we needed. Long story short, we shelved the album, split from that label, and moved on. On the bright side, in that time we had the opportunity to write for other artists, which was new for us and led us to starting our own music production team, FXMS Music. Currently we've written for eight artists other than ourselves and we continue to produce and write songs for four artists within our company.

PPLA: How do you feel about being out as an indie artist now? Where do you see your career going?

FEVAMODE: Fifteen years ago nobody knew Napster would kickstart free file sharing and change the industry the way it did, just ask Lars Ulrich! It's become the day and age of social media and YouTubers getting overnight success. Some say it's not the 'true' way of developing artists anymore, but I say 'if you can't beat em, join em'. Maybe we should change that to 'if you can't tweet em, join em'. Ok, bad joke. Truthfully, it's just different now and I think artists are more reachable more so than ever with Facebook, Twitter, and apps like Instagram. Now you can follow, even get responses from your favorite artists and 'like' and comment on their everyday photos they take. It's unreal! Growing up, I only knew the bands from the inside of CD liner notes and the occasional TV special. If you can adapt to the new way of the industry, it's a great time to be an independent artist. For FevaMode, I see a long career ahead of us, full of world tours, explosive albums, epic music videos, all tied together with unique social media tactics to keep our fans truly interested in what we're doing. After all, we're just a push of the button away aren't we?

PPLA: What is your dream band to play with? Dream venue?

FEVAMODE: If we got to play with Blink 182 that would be a dream come true. They really inspired us - Press Pass LA

Bio

Location: Los Angeles

Genre: Pop/Electronic/Punk

Members: Case Feva (lead vocals), Mick Mode (drums, vocals)

The brother-duo FevaMode is Casey "Case Feva" and Michael "Mick Mode" Sullivan. The band has the fun, youthful presence of LMFAO while maintaining comparable onstage artistry and credibility to that of Maroon 5 and Neon Trees. The band describes their music as "dance punk", a combination of the pop/punk they grew up on and their not-so-guilty pleasure for modern electronic pop. On May 22, 2013, FevaMode released a free online download of their entire album, "Born 2B Loud" on their official website. The band is currently promoting the album in Los Angeles, building a name for themselves at famous clubs on the Sunset Strip like House of Blues, The Viper Room, and the Roxy Theater.

In 2010, the brothers started their own music and video production company, FXMS Entertainment. In 3 years, FevaMode has completed 4 full-length albums (3 hip-hop artists and one their own) and 8 music videos. The FXMS catalog now has 350 registered songs in a wide spectrum of genres, including pop, hip-hop, folk, and film score.
