"Arson on the Inside Wall"

Another band from San Diego? Yep. Fever Sleeves (named after a Q And Not U song?) play some sort of disjointed post-rock-core something that is fueled by angular guitars and which falls somewhere between Cap 'N' Jazz, The Dismemberment Plan, and maybe Shudder To Think. That sounds about right to me. Basically it's technical and aggressive without being either mathy or hardcore. Anyhow, if you like bands like Make Believe and Plastic Constellations, I think you might also like Fever Sleeves. I do. - Can You See The Sunset From The Southside

Bio

The band has been working as a musical unit together for about four years. Each song structure has been labored over for months and in some cases years. Our influences range from D.C. punk to big band jazz to Radiohead. In general, our sound is a sort of punk-prog hybrid with a strong predilection toward catchy hooks and against repetition. The vocals, like the music, range from snarling/barking to a Buckley-esque falsetto and hits everything in between.
Referential touchpoints include Fugazi, Faraquet, Radiohead, Mars Volta, Minus the Bear, and Refused.
