Bio

Fey means "crazy" in Norse. Loka is "world" in some Indian language I can't recall. "Crazy World" is right. But that has nothing to do with the actual band, just a nice name... Now, the band's purpose is simply to create music that conveys feeling more than anything, and to perform music that does so (whether it was written by us/me or not). Nothing really sets us apart from another bands, unless those bands are planning simply to be the next Nickleback, or whatever mediocre moneymaker the popular bandwagon has smeared across radiowaves at the moment. That and the age thing might have something to do with it, considering I'm currently 15.

There isn't really any history so far to be told, but I can say my journey into music (Brian Martin). Now, I've been singing all my life, just like anybody else, but I always felt the music. I felt my emotions change drastically listening to music, changing my points of view, and just transporting me into some new world-- it was an experience of euphoria like none other. However, I never really tried writing music until I picked up the guitar, which I've only been playing for about a year (so far). It sounds ridiculous, but so far I've had great compliments from teachers, friends, and from anyone I've played songs around (things like, "So when are you trying out for American Idol?). It's ridiculous to be looking for gigs, but you kind of have to start out like that, don't you? In any case, I'm confident in that I can perform well enough.

Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Glen Hansard (his acoustic work, like in the movie Once especially), Stevie Wonder, Mike Patton, and dredg.
