Where do I begin with this article.. How about we start off with me saying that not only was this my second photography gig, but I had actually just acquired a new lens for my camera. Not only was I slightly nervous, I got to the point where I was rocking on my seat on the bus like a crazy person from the nerves kicking in. If anyone saw me doing that by the way I am sorry I put you through that. I’m getting off topic here, I’m meant to be talking about the band FEZ not my life story so lets just skip to the part when I arrive to the venue shall we. It didn’t get off to a perfect start, thanks to the amazing power of google earth. I found myself far from the venue itself and with the time looming I didn’t want to miss a single band. Unfortunately this was the case, by the time I got there the first band had already finished and a band named FEZ was just about to start. I thought to myself I’ll just walk though the crowd and find myself a great spot to take photos. Simple right? Well.. I can admit I’m not 100% right on these things. I had no idea how much of an impact these guys would have made from the onset. It felt like I had just been sucked into a whirlpool, I was drawn towards these simple yet catchy lyrics provided by the talented Joe Rhodes and the powerful charisma fuelled by the guitarist and drummer who had no signs of quitting from start to finish. Mix this with an energetic crowd and you’re in for a spectacular show and that’s exactly what we got. I was simply amazed how much of a dynamic stage presence the brand brought to the night. At one point the crowd had even decided to form some type of pit at the front on the stage, I was more than happy to join at the time, till I realised I had this bulky camera around my neck.I don’t think it would have ended great with me in the mix now would it? But enough on that, let’s try ending this on a high note. FEZ was a band that was completely new to me, yet by the end along with every single member of the crowd we wanted more. If this is one of the many new faces in the music Industry, then I can’t wait to see what follows.

Bio
We are a hardworking and determined band with the drive and passion for music and bringing that music to as many people as possible.
Just some background on us a band. We have supported at sold out shows at Manchester Academy 3 and Fac251 as well as a supporting slot at Night and Day cafe. We have also played many shows across the North West at venues such as the Zanzibar in Liverpool as well as the Old Courts in Wigan which has really allowed us to perfect our live performance. We also have upcoming gigs again at Manchester Academy 3 and again at Night and Day after promoters were so impressed with our performance as well as the reaction of our fans and the numbers we brought. We have already gathered a large devoted fan base of 100+ people who attend our every gig and always show their unwavering support. We have also recently finished recording two of our songs at SSR Studios in Manchester with producer Callum Bate (sound engineer for Blossoms). These songs include Dreamin', the track that I will link in the bottom of this message.
We are an extremely dedicated and hardworking band who take pride in our anthemic melodies, soaring guitars and driving bass lines and I really hope you gives us an opportunity to work with your label, so that our music can reach more and more people.
