Bio
Dark. Powerful. Vulnerable. Sincere. Aggressive. Delusional. These are words I use to describe my debut EP, 'The Rabbit Hole'.
I grew up playing piano, singing, and writing songs. A sheltered Cleveland girl, I spent a few years in Atlanta before finally shifting to Los Angeles. My creativity has been fueled by the people, environments, and sensations I've encountered along the way. I was always working on music, whether alone or with a consortium of other writers and producers, because it fed my soul. Nevertheless, before LA, I felt I had nothing compelling to say. I had been staying within a realm that was comfortable to me.
When I arrived, I gave LA the authority to do what it wanted with me. I was hungry to explore a world beyond what I knew, which is when I found my voice. I willingly jumped into the rabbit hole. I was able to write about subtle emotions, desires, and evils that I previously couldn’t fully comprehend or express. I learned to embrace everything - the joy, the sadness, and the misery. I also began to understand my innate longing to connect with others, which is an unexplainable satisfaction and beauty.
After several whirlwind years of song-crafting, I completed my debut EP with Grammy-award winning producer, Timothy Bloom (Ne-Yo, Chris Brown). The stories of these songs will take you through an array of unapologetic emotions – I hope you will let yourself take the ride with me.
