Bio

FICKLE: erratic, liable to sudden unpredictable change.
LOT: a place of gathering.
FICKLES LOT: a place to go where you can be yourself and constantly be different but have a common goal.

In May, 2006 that random change aligned to create a butterfly effect. 1 idea and 4 guys got together to create a concept using music as an outlet, as a way to do what they most desire... Effect the world. Now in 2011 with much growth and experience and an additional member down for the cause, they have overcome trials and tribulations and come out stronger and better because of them.
While their sound is youthful, these vets of the stage have toured the Mid-west to the South-East, opened for Big-Names like "Saosin, Framing Hanley, Fountains of Wayne" and the country band "Lone Star" showing their diversity in earning a fan base across genres. The band remains very connected to their fans thru online media with their video updates, weekly blogs and full length music videos featuring their first full length album rightfully called: "Here I Am."

Many bands come and go with only a single hit that sticks. This band, this album, is proving its longevity. It is hard to find just a single song to share with a friend. Fickles Lot is very diverse in songwriting skills. EVERY song has something that you cannot ignore. To review to someone that has never heard it themselves: there is a clarity and range to the vocals that only a very few people can attain. Slow and soaring choruses oozing thoughtful lyrics with good messages. The re-birth of the guitar solo: Very clever guitar hooks that do not abuse your ears over a powerful and catchy rhythm. These together inviting a sing-along, a mosh, or a slow dance with new love. Fickles Lot is so disciplined that you do not hear individual instruments struggling to have the limelight all the time. Unity, both tonally and rhythmically, they move toward the common goal of pleasing your soul. You will be drawn to the slower songs as there is a certain genuine feeling put into them that is hard to explain...listen for yourself. Should you get the opportunity: Make sure to catch a live performance. Their on-stage synergy only re-enforces the energy and emphasis of the music.
