Fiddles and Feet

Fiddles & Feet, a musical group from Central Nova Scotia, has been plying their trade for over fifteen years. Born when an entertainment agency asked Gordon Tucker if he could put together a fiddle group for a night of down home maritime music. Gordon invited several of his students to join him for the evening. So with four fiddles, a guitar and a bohran, they were a huge hit that evening. Upon learning that most of the students could also stepdance.... well that just added the icing to the cake and Fiddles & Feet was born. The line up has remained very consistent over the years with Alycia Putnam, Laura Watson, Megan Isenor and Gordon on fiddles; Rob Putnam on guitar and Janelle Putnam on bohran & mandolin. Playing a variety of traditional fiddle music along with some swing & dixieland tunes, all with lots of energy, they can entertain most any crowd and are in high demand for conventions where a real taste of the Maritimes is required. A more recent addition is some Maritime songs by vocalists Laura, Megan & Gordon. From kitchen parties to formal concerts, banquets, receptions.... Fiddles & Feet can do it!
