Bio

Field of Vision has been a full band for about 2 years now. They started out as a two-piece side project called "The Best of Luck" featuring Jim Mack on guitar and Joe Corson singing and playing drums from 2005-2007. Jim later started jamming with Peter Mayoral (guitar) and Dan Hogan (bass) in Jim's garage in 2008 and later convinced Joe to form a full band.

After going through several band names and adding keyboardist, Trevor Utz, they finally decided on calling the band "Today's Society" in Winter of 2008. After a few months of writing songs, playing several shows, and losing Trevor (due to musical differences), the band changed their name to "Field of Vision". Jim, Joe, Peter, and Dan's senior year of high school at Downers Grove North went by quickly. After graduating in 2009, they all had something to look forward to - college. Which meant only one problem - Dan was the only one going out of state for college.

Being determined, as a band, they knew they weren't going to quit just because of a loss of a key band member. Luckily, Jim and Joe were very good friends with sophomore Rob Wash (current bassist). Rob never picked up a bass before. But after learning a few techniques and all the songs from Jim in the span of 1 1/2 months, Rob was determined to start playing the bass for this band. He was later adopted into the band after Dan's last show in August of 2009 - the band has been playing strong ever since.

Field of Vision recently just released their Single titled, "About That..." - pick it up at future shows. They are now working on their EP - scheduled to be released before Summer 2011.
