Bio
Hailing from Detroit, Fifth Period Fever is here to bring you something better. Members Pat McCauley, Steve McCauley and Erik Miller seek to put their own stamp on the rock and roll landscape by blending 50s and 60s rock, old R&B, punk, and classic country. Music fans will surely hear the likes of Gram Parsons, The Zombies, and T.Rex infused within their chords and melodies, but will be energized by the bands originality and skill.
Though official for a couple of years, the roots of Fifth Period Fever go back much further. At the heart of the band are twin brothers Pat and Steve McCauley, who began playing music together at the age of 14. Their musical endeavors and experiences have fashioned today’s unique 5PF sound. Each note, chord and harmony echos their musical chemistry that has developed over 12 years of playing together. Drummer Erik Miller, whose hard rock style and enthusiasm has contributed to the band since May of 2005, rounds out the musical trio, resulting in a fun, intelligent approach to music that brings you something better.
In May of 2006, Fifth Period Fever unveiled their debut EP Five Past Twelve. A tour in support of the EP will commence within the coming months. Check out www.fifthperiodfever.com for more information.
