Fighter Pilot

BandRockAlternative

Say hello to Fighter Pilot, a high energy power pop rock band, with a pinch of Foo Fighters, a dash of Jimmy Eat World and a healthy spoonful of Stone Temple Pilots. Putting the friendly back in radio, Fighter Pilot is a band with indie sensibilities and massive commercial appeal.

Biography

Tired of the current music scene? Looking for something you can sink your teeth into? Then FIGHTER PILOT is the band you’ve been waiting for. Energy-filled, simmering, crackling power pop that’s music to the ears. These are the guys that put the friendly back into radio. Loaded with hits and unforgettable harmonies on top of harmonies, Fighter Pilot is a sonic treat that’s impossible to resist.

Making more sound than any three-piece should, Fighter Pilot consists of David Aaron Freed on lead vocals and bass, Paulo Charbel on guitar and backgrounds, and Kevin Holden on drums and backgrounds. Formed in Hollywood a little over two years ago, Fighter Pilot has generated a buzz throughout the indie power pop circuit. From their radio hit “Too Much About Me” (which recently cracked the Top 100 on Mediabase’s Rock Chart), to song placements on network television(WB's One Tree Hill), to awards (runner-up, Billboard Songwriting Contest), to numerous high-profile festival appearances (International Pop Overthrow, South Park, Texas Rockfest), to their blistering live shows (recently recommended by LA Weekly), Fighter Pilot has hit the music world with authority. As XM Radio described on their exclusive Radar Report program, Fighter Pilot is “… an artist to look for in the future as they’re gaining momentum every day.”

If you’re not a believer yet, listen to their critically acclaimed debut album Atomic Anthem or catch them live – you’ll be glad you did.

Lyrics

Too Much About Me

Written By: David Aaron Freed

You
You saw me naked
Naked
In all my clothes
You
I held you sacred
You were
The one I chose

I shared my secrets
Secrets
I held inside
You
You learned my weakness
There was nothing
That I would hide

And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
Someone knows exactly who I am
And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
And now somebody doesn’t give a damn

You
You played my hostess
Hostess
To all my haunts
You
You were my witness
My accomplice
To all my faults

And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
Someone knows exactly who I am
And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
And now somebody doesn’t give a damn

I
I thought we’d make it
Make it
Just you and me
You
You left me naked
Exposed
For the whole damn world to see

And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
Someone knows exactly who I am
And now somebody in this world knows
Too much about me
And now somebody doesn’t give a damn

Perfect Day

Written By: David Aaron Freed

Youth
It’s all around me
It’s running through me
It’s speaking to me
Time
It’s on my side now
And the weight of the world
Is off my mind

It’s a perfect day
It’s a perfect day
In L.A.

Faith
It’s calling to me
It’s falling through me
It’s right before me
Life
It’s on my side now
And the weight of the past
Is off my mind

It’s a perfect day
It’s a perfect day
In L.A.

All I ever wanted
Was to sing to you
All I ever wanted
Was to sing to you

It’s a perfect day
It’s a perfect day
In L.A.

Lost In Hollywood

Written By: David Aaron Freed

It’s night time again
And I’m drunk again
Been drinking so long
But I’m gonna drink a little more

This girl walks in
I flash her a grin
And two seconds later
Her boyfriend walks in through the door

I’m lost in Hollywood
I’m lost in Hollywood
Lost in Hollywood
And I’m hoping to be found

Empty and tired
My soul up for hire
I’m a lonely house of cards
That’s just about to fall

But someone didn’t kiss me goodnight
Someone didn’t hold me too tight
Someone didn’t love me right
Or didn’t love me at all

I’m lost in Hollywood
I’m not doin’ all that good
I’m lost in Hollywood
And I’m crashing to the ground
I’m famous
You just don’t know it
I’m good looking
I just don’t show it
Lost in Hollywood
And I’m hoping to be found

At night I close my eyes
And I relive all my lies
Another piece of me dies
Away away

I know what you’ll say
You see one like me everyday
There’s a million of us here
And a million more to come
The agents shoulda paid me
The girls, they should laid me
The rejection should have killed me by now
But I’m slowly growing numb

I’m lost in Hollywood
And nothin’s as it should
Lost in Hollywood
So let’s drink another round
I’m lost in Hollywood
I’m not doin all that good
Lost in Hollywood
And I’m hoping to be found
