Formed in early 2014 in an Essex bedroom with a drum kit and a practice amp, Figures started piecing together what are now some of their biggest crowd pleasers. Drawing influences from the distorted riffs of Biffy Clyro to the obscurities and progressions of The Mars Volta, Figures are rapidly crafting their own identity with head-nodding grooves, lucid movement between genres, intriguing effects pedals and surprising turns at every corner. Although just a three-piece - consisting of George Berry (guitar/vocals), Jake Stonebrook (drums) and Jack Stevenson (bass/vocals) - the trio boasts a huge sound.
With the release of their debut EP in November 15 the Essex-based band are spreading their material through different venues around the county, already playing two local festivals this summer, taking a main support slot for Q Magazines band of the year 2014 The Savage Nomads and acquiring local radio airplay.
