Bio

Five of Fillmore's Ladder's members have, over the last 3 years, toured in a Bob Seger Tribute Band called "Night Moves". This was a great gig & they mastered Seger's material with passion, sophistication & drive. Then something started to take them in a new & exciting direction when they discovered, quite by accident, that their collective roots lie in the music that was created by 60's & 70's artist like Santana, Hendrix, The Grateful Dead & Allman Brothers to name a few. The influence of Santana, Hendrix & Duane Allman comes through in Adam McCray's passionate lead guitar licks that he plays in his own way. And to watch Scott Burns on the keys & lead vocals and seeing how he's captured so much of Greg Allman's style while inserting his own soulful style is simply trilling to watch. He is soul personified.

Third on this list is their percussionist, Vinnie Carrasco, who's high energy, strength, power & intensity will compel you to take to the floor & dance in wild abandonment like that of a tribal native in the jungles of Africa. And add to this the driving bass guitar played by Jay McDaniel who never fails to take the auidence by complete surprise with his incredible ability to charge the crowd with his rebel rocker rap & humor of a madman.

To complete this list of five is Dave Henry. No live jam band can do without the funky sax playing that he can deliver while also helping out on the keys as well.

Adding to this new endeavor, Fillmore's Ladder, are the vocal talents of Dawn Burns & Lena Kelly.
Dawn Burns bring to the stage the soft, sultry, sexy style & talent needed to engage the audience, men & women alike, with her angelic smile & beautiful voice.

Lena Kelly is a seasoned poet/song writer with a strong and dynamic soulful voice who can stand alongside some of the great soul singers in the industry today. Whether she's covering one of her favorite artists or performing an original, on stage, she is a beautiful real live work of art in motion.
