"Filming Stars are a 3-piece noise making, garage rock band from the booming musical metropolis of Nashville,TN. Filming Stars' influences include Mudhoney, The Who, 13th Floor Elevators, Flaming Lips (pre-1999), Brian Jonestown Massacre, and The Jesus Lizard. Filming Stars' bombastic live shows are at times indescribable,but includes plenty of rocking excitement, Keith Moon-style drum breaks, moving basslines, and classic guitar riffs.
