Filth Dimension

 2019 is the year for Melbourne three piece alt punks Filth Dimension. They have arrived with a punch and have plenty to say. Newly formed in 2018 and without a recording the band did a consistent run of successful shows and festivals in Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne throughout the year.

Playing along side some inspiring, heavy hitters and as the band were finding their feet they wrote “Heavy Peace” a three song EP Released 24th Jan 2019, recorded to tape at Half Way Records by the talented Musician/Engineer Luke Yeoward (King Cannons, 131’s).

Their impressive debut EP is a fusion of punk, grunge and heavy rock, with passionate lyrics and driving riffs that compliment some killer melodies…and singer Kris Killriot is no stranger to this approach from her years as front woman in Anarcho- Punk band 'Kill The Apprentice'. Her metaphorical way of writing in Filth Dimension goes deep on an array of social issues and the beauty and tragedy of human behaviour.

Brett Parrish(Pigasus, Cock, Startakit) shines on the drums and his years of experience playing in many different bands and genres is obvious on this EP. Dynamic drumming, and solid as a rock throughout.

Lana Rikihana (Junkyard) was the last piece to join the Filth puzzle and she lifts the band to that next level with mad skills on bass, mesmerising to watch live with a dark and brutal bass tone that sit’s so well in the band.

Filth Dimension released their first video 'Save Me' on the 3rd of February 2019 with positive reviews and instant radio airplay of their debut EP. The 'Save Me' single was written about the perils of self medicating and addiction, the video captures this beautifully with it’s dark content and imagery. 

This band is coming in strong with a second and third videos being launched in April and May. With interstate and overseas tours locked in for 2019 this band is a force..
