Filth Junkie

Filth Junkie, is the current project from long time Chicago DJ and Producer Jason (Jade) Lyons, formerly of Crobar Chicago, and is a culmination of his life long love affair with electronic music, and the nightclub industry. A veteran in the Chicago scene, Jade has headlined at many of Chicago's top nightclubs over his illustrious career, and has split the bill with many of the worlds top DJ's and producers. Never one to mix business with pleasure, Jade's performances to date have either been strictly live, or DJ sets, never attempting to merge the two... Until Now!
Filth Junkie is a fully interactive Live/DJ set. Utilizing cutting edge production and DJ technologies Jade is able to perform live versions of his own work as well as fully manipulate tracks from his vast collection of electronic music, while performing "on the fly remixes" seamlessly, all in a non stop DJ mix format. Filth Junkie, as the name implies is all about Dirty beats, with Filthy bass lines driving them home, in a dark Electro House feel with some industrial, techno, trance, and disco elements integrated within the mix. Each performance will be unique and will incorporate a variety of live instrumentation, and vocals adding to the overall "Live " feel.
