ORIGIN STORY...
Filth Machine: We didn't get into music, music got into us! We all have different ways that music become a part of our lives. And those different paths have come together to give us the sound we have created today. We're from Salem, Oregon. Oregon is the place where hippies went after the 70's. It's a place where music comes alive whether your Hip Hop, Country or Metal. You can find awesome live music being played any day anywhere by anyone! For out name, we put two names together: We were almost Super Awesome Death Machine or Filth but we will now and forever be know as Filth Machine!


WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES?
Filth Machine: Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Black Dahlia Murder Music: mix between heavy metal, funk, groove, and hard core; Business or otherwise: we strive to have the business savvy of Lamb of God and KISS of course we have big dreams, big goals and we have the determination it will take to reach the heights that we want to aspire to.

Filth Machine: We have just finished our self titled debut album, which was produced by Ivan de Prume former drummer of White Zombie. We placed in the Next Big Thing Tour and we had regular air play of our music on KUFO Metalopolis. Were getting ready to play the Live Loud n Local Music Festival with the Hell Hath No Fury Tour at the Bossonova Ballroom.

WHAT'S YOUR ANGLE?
Filth Machine: We like to combine a lot of different genre's in our music to create something new and innovative. We have a unique sound, I guess some would call it Egyptian Metal, through our use of World Percussion and Melodic Guitar solos. We bring a fresh young perspective on Nu Metal and a sound that just has to be heard!


ON THE HORIZON...
Filth Machine: Currently were trying to win the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands slot on the Vans Warped Tour for the Hillsboro venue. We have a bunch of shows coming up and are working on the booking of our summer tour. We are currently in the writing process of our second album and are looking to get signed by Roadrunner or Metal Blade Records. We want to thank a bunch of people: first off our families because without them we would not be here today; our number #1 fans: Sam Ramp, Pablo Vasquez and Paul Davis who have come to every one of our shows; KevGod at Cityview; and of course all the hotties that keep our music at full tilt!
