Bio
Filthy Angel was put together by Asti and John as a result of their love for classic rock. Asti's old friend Ben was brought in on 2nd guitar and a chance meeting of Asti and Mike Fox backstage at the Donington (Download) Festival in 2005 sealed the deal ... Filthy Angel had found their band.
Filthy Angel is not about fame and fortune ... it's about 4 guys playing honest rock and it shows in their performances. You would be hard pressed to find a front man as energetic and entertaining as Asti and you will wonder how with all that running around Asti is able to sing and play guitar so well.
Asti has a long history in the music business and has toured the world with many rock bands as well as owning a recording studio in London.
John plays bass. You won't find any flashy slapping and technical showing off... just good solid bass ... the way we like it!
Ben has a lot of experience over the years and also plays in various other projects including his own band.
Mike left for sunnier climes for a few years, but is now back in the fold.. a solid and infectious drummer. Once again you can FEEL the energy coming from behind the kit.
