Trillmatic (Filthy Finesse)
Trillmatic is the debut studio album by American recording artist Filthy Finesse, released on July 14, 2013, Independently. Majority of the Recording & Production for the album took place at Michael 'MKMixedIt' King's recording studio, & Flight7Studios during 2012 to 2013. The project had various producers: TJ 'ReddJacc' Sheppard, Emmanuel 'Streets Mentor' Ross, Tucker 'The Remedy', Dark Triangles, Dizaster, Nine2, The Beat Basement & Legendary The Hitman. It also featured contributions from Sonny Base & Emory (New Generation Lover)
Trillmatic is a complete story into the rough life in times of Filthy Finesse, which is a must hear. A true 'nothing to something' story that addresses his 'come ups' and success story as well as his shortcomings and humble beginnings. A modern day classic which he deemed his 'Audio-biography'. Considerded a dirty south lyricist, his hypnotic flow and mezmorizing beat production are sure to please. 'Trillmatic' is a flawless street album, that will captivate you from the first song, to the last ... containing street anthems, club bangers, R&B features, and soul bearing life stories and 'tell all's, this album is a must have!
The first single, Asylum, was leaked in September 2012 and used to raise awareness of Filthy's presence, which was a success as it was chosen for placement on Various DJ's Mixtapes and albums. In November of 2012, he officially announced the coming of his debut project {Trillmatic}. In February of 2013, He leaked the intro for the project 'Im Out Chea', which garnered more success than its predecessor, landing in more DJ's compilations, two of which were DJ Dutchmaster's 'The City Is Mine' and DJ SheRexMics' 'We Out Chea'. Despite the two intentionally leaked songs, no official singles or videos were released prior to Trillmatic's July 2013 release. A short week after dropping the album, he released his first video, being to Asylum. Shortly after, with a philanthropist's intent, he Co-created a television show called 'The Bizness TV' and maintained performing state to state. A whole nine months after the albums release, he released a second video, this one being to his song 'Im Out Chea'. In this video he leaks a preview of a record 'Cant Tell Me Shit' that is not found on Trillmatic, staying true to his fashion. Trillmatic has received no mainstream criticism.

Bio

Filthy Finesse is a rap artist, with strong lyrical capability, born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Originally rapping as a hobby, he had no idea this talent would change his life. Filthy signed to RC Music Management as it's first artist, but this business arrangement was extremely short lived.

After being banned from public school his Junior year of high school, and consequently shunned by some of his family, he neglected his new found music career saying he 'felt forced' to rely on street money and his gang affiliations to survive. He did so successfully and remained allusive for years before ultimately taking the fall for a friend with a prior record. Though he was charged with several felonies and took a plea bargain to only receive one, the nerve wrecking experience itself was an eye opener for him. 'It could have went a lot worse' he says, 'I've got homies in there [prison] right now, doing a dime [10 years] or better' he elaborates. Though he admits it took a few more years and more charges, this felon finally turned his sole focus to music, a trade he mastered. Though the passion never left, the pay offs were bleak.

In 2012, Filthy would link up with former manager Nick 'NJB' Bridges, from RC Management, in what was agreed to be their 'Last Shot' before they both moved on and pursued other options in life. Soon after, he began working on his 1st album Trillmatic, which he finished and released in mid 2013 (available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Google Play, Muve Music, Rdio, Spotify & more), and seemed to supply the spark they needed.

Trillmatic became a complete story of his life and times, which is a must hear. 'Its my "audio-biography"' he explains. Though the album didn't garner overwhelming 'mainstream' success, it did make believers out of the underground scene and his peers.

Throughout his journey, he has opened for national recording artists Yo Gotti, Project Pat, Hell Rell, THE Eastside Boyz, D.Woods and more, performed at college homecomings, Charity events, Youth Benefits, as well as on Television and both FM & Internet Radio.
