January 27 at the Cercle in Quebec City, was held to launch the debut of Final State before a hundred people came to discover or discover this new musical phenomenon.
Final State is four young men from Quebec,which ;Rick Desforges (vocalsand guitar ),Mathieu Lortie (guitarand keyboards ),Vincent Marquis Blackburn ( bassand vocals )and Olivier Bibeau ( drumsand vocals),aged between 18 and 19. Unknown a few months ago, the Quebecois band begins to make a name in the middle with a pop-rock catchy and unusual, which found their musical influences including those of Elvis and John Mayer. The music of the Final State eponymous album are composed by the talented Rick Lortie and Mathieu Desforges, which latter also wrote the texts.
Their story began a few months ago when they decided to challenge their destiny by preparing a demo and knocking on every door of producers. Unfortunately, very few answers come to them, until after several attempts, Mr. Couture opens its doors. Adventure Final State can begin ...
In front of a frenzied crowd at the club, that Final State delivered a remarkable performance and undeniable enthusiasm generated by interpreting the songs including All I Want, I Will not Stay Away and Leave You, which resonated in the room to the delight of an audience already conquered. From the first notes, the charismatic voice of Rick Desforges and the undeniable talent of each musician involve everyone in their musical universe for about half past one. The proximity and interactivity with their audience already demonstrating a great stage presence and impeccable talent.

Final State is a pop/rock group from Quebec City
that is made up of four passionate musicians. They met
each other in high school and since then, they have developed a chemistry that has allowed them to progress
rapidly in the music scene.
With their single Make Up Your Mind, the group
has positioned itself in the forefront and reached number
one on Quebecs TOP25 Pop/Rock charts, as well
as number 26 on Canadas HOT AC charts. They were
named Bell Emerging Artist in Canada, and the video
for their single quickly reached number one on the MusiquePlus charts.
The success of this first single allowed them to travel to Kenya in Africa to film the video for Dreaming Out Loud, the second single from their fivesong EP entitled Still I Believe Its True, which was released in June 2013.
The members of Final State are hardly in their twenties
but to this day, they have given over a hundred
concerts, including fourty odd concerts performed during
a tour of high schools in 2011-12. They have opened for
many well-known groups such as Owl City, Simple Plan,
Marianas Trench and Down with Webster. Final State
will pull you in with their catchy pop/rock melodies and
memorable concerts. The group is in great shape and
ready to give audiences the time of their lives!
