Biography

The strength that Essexville, Michigan-based hard rock quartet Finding Clyde’s Sacrifice it All delivers is an uncommon combination of simple, chord-driven rock melodies and innovative composition. Joe Rivard’s melodic vocals and overdrive-heavy rhythm guitar act as a solid foundation for the rhythm section of Marc Scott (drums) and Tony Rivard (bass). Jack Neymeiyer’s inventive use of effects and raw skill on lead guitar complement the rhythm section very well and help complete this formidable outfit of hard rockers. Having shared the stage with artists such as Buckcherry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slash, Alice Cooper, Top Evil, Stone Temple Pilots, Egypt Central, and 3 Doors Down, the members of Finding Clyde have proved their ability to perform both on-stage and in-studio.

Sacrifice it All is jam-packed with power. “Let Me Be,” the lead single, has climbed the Active Rock Radio charts from Spokane to Texas, Chicago, and thoughout the group's home state of Michigan, reaching #39 on the charts and selected as pick of the week by Nikki Sixx on his show, Sixx Sense. The album’s opening track “Get Higher,” is destined to be right on the heels of “Let Me Be” as the next big single from this album, with a driving bass line, killer guitar solo, and rock vocals. The title track, “Sacrifice It All,” exemplifies the band’s use of forceful, chord-heavy guitar style, loud drums, and cleaner-sounding bass lines that are juxtaposed flawlessly against the intense guitar harmonies. “Answer Me,” Finding Clyde’s power ballad, bound to draw comparisons to Stone Temple Pilots’ “Plush” commands the listener’s attention with passion and anger along with vocals reminiscent of Scott Weiland.

Sacrifice It All was recorded, mixed, and produced by Chuck Alkazian (Trust Company, Pop Evil, Teddy Porter, Saving Abel, Bobaflex) at Pearl Sound Studios in Detroit, MI and mastered by Scott Hull (Ani Difranco, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springstein, Elvis Costello, and Sting) at Masterdisk in New York City.

It doesn’t matter if you hear a song of theirs blasting at an arena event, pounding away on the radio, cranking on your stereo from their CD, or via your iPod it all sounds the same – great! - Rick “The Screamer” Lindner, Alternative Revolt Magazine

[Finding Clyde] packs a powerful rock sound- Richie Frieman, Pens Eye View

Lyrics

Sacrifice It All

Written By: Joe Rivard, Marc Scott, Jack Neymeiyer

Take your number come on in the sheep are here the wolves begin they say they trust us
Assembly lines of hate and fear some would say the end is near it’s not it’s not it’s the beginning
So go ahead sit and stare it’s all a game not played fair

Do you want to die for nothing or do you want to live

Sacrifice it all
They do not impress us they will second guess us
Sacrifice it all
And stand for something now

We took the time
To draw a line
They crossed it once
Too many times
So listen here is the mission it’s time to break the addiction
No need to ask for permission
Go on and take your position

Do you want to die for nothing or do you want to live

Sacrifice it all
They do not impress us they will second guess us
Sacrifice it all
And stand for something now
Sacrifice it all
They do not impress us they will second guess us
Sacrifice it all
And stand for something now

So you want to fight for something
Then you got to believe in something
So you want to fight for something
Then you got to believe in something
If you don’t want to fight for something
Just get up and leave

Let Me Be

Written By: Joe Rivard

face down tonight I dont where I am I am
searching for some kind of reason why im the one you'd believe in but if you count me out you will never find
what it feels like to love you like I can

do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you let me be your man
do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you wont you try to understand let me be your man
let me be your man

pick up where we left off things changed and I messed up hang your hopes on something strong let me show you how

what I was isn't who I am let me help you try to understand take a moment to decide if you wanted me to hide
what it feels like to love you like I can

do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you let me be your man
do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you wont you try to understand let me be your man

you'll be the one that shines on and ill be the one you rely on I'll stand next to you let me be your man let me be your man just let me be your man

do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you let me be your man
do you wanna know where I stand I stand next to you wont you try to understand let me be your man let me be your man let me be your man

Get Higher

Written By: Joe Rivard, Marc Scott, Jack Neymeiyer

I got a fine looking baby that brings me down
All the world can see me I’m coming ‘round
Better come on baby sing your praise
Cause I got problems
Coming your way

I don’t mind what you say nothing seems to get me higher
When you fall to your ways I don’t ever want to leave
I don’t mind when you say you could never be my problem
Nothing gets me higher than when you say my name girl

You got a big back baby
It calls my name
I’ll fix all your problems
I’ll get on my way
I don’t want babies to see my safe
When all I want is for you to cum my way

I don’t mind what you say nothing seems to get me higher
When you fall to your ways I don’t ever want to leave
I don’t mind when you say you could never be my problem
Nothing gets me higher than when you say my name girl

Nothing seems to get me high

I don’t mind what you say nothing seems to get me higher
When you fall to your ways I don’t ever want to leave
I don’t mind when you say you could never be my problem
Nothing gets me higher than when you say my name girl

Yea yea nothing seems to get me
Yea yea nothing seems to get me
Yea yea nothing seems to get me
Yea yea nothing seems to get me
Yea yea nothing seems to get me high

Answer Me

Written By: Joe Rivard, Marc Scott, Jack Neymeiyer

You can’t change my mind anymore
I will find a way
You don’t care while everything falls to the floor
Where is yesterday

Every time you lie
I’m always asking why
Answer me tomorrow
Answer me today

You won’t waste my time anymore
But I can’t turn away
I will leave my heart at the door
I’m lost beyond my ways

Every time you lie
I’m always asking why
Answer me tomorrow
Answer me today

Now I see lonely days
I don’t seem to care

Every time you lie
I’m always asking why
Answer me tomorrow
Answer me today
Answer me today
Answer me today
As I fade away
As I fade away
