"Dancing Shoes Reviews"

7/18/2008: What a great though very trad vibe here! But this kind of stuff always works. I love the chorus! Mark3

6/28/2008: Crikey! This is huge! Fabulous, really, in every aspect. Anyone who hears this and doesn´t feel slightly better than they did before would have to be seriously cerebrally disconnected. Not sure exactly why, but something in here reminds me of Aerosmith. Fantastic energy in the performance and production, great song, astonnishingly tight playing - just great. This has got hit written all over it. Superb! KenMorrison

6/20/2008: A great stevie ray albert king in his funky period vibe happening here.A super energetic performance and well developed production. If you guys were playing my town I would be standing in line for a ticket. 335

6/18/2008: Excellent in everyway! The energy is fantstic and the sound really won´t date because it´s using classic elements and organic instrument (which never goes out of style) I can´t wait to hear more from this group. Chocolatebubbles * Feedback

Bio

Admit it - you do it all week long. You count the hours until Friday night when
you can kick up your heels and forget about the stresses of the world. Finding Friday is all about
that… a group of guys who want to make you move and help you lose yourself in the rhythm of
their music.

This band has a groove that comes from an obvious love of music that spans decades and genres:
from classic soul and Motown, to Queen and The Police, to Incubus and Dave Matthews Band.
The two things their musical influences have at the heart are killer grooves and monster melodies.

Vancouver’s North Shore is where Finding Friday calls home; it’s where Steve Thompson (vocals)
and Austin short (lead guitar) started writing music in 2003. In 2006 bass player Andrew Marks
from Calgary, Alberta joined the fold. Andrew’s collaborator, and local drummer, Tobi Duquette
completed the line up in early 2007. The boys started performing live shows in and around
Vancouver - becoming a cohesive and unstoppable unit.

Finding Friday set out to define (and refine) their infectious sound. The result was “Live at the
Armoury”, recorded at the legendary Armoury Studios in Vancouver’s Kitsilano district. The album
debuted on iTunes Store Canada, and sold internationally on CDBaby.com. Tracks such as She Got
Moves became a staple of the musical lineup on Evolution 107.9 in Burnaby, BC. Finding Friday
were asked to come in for multiple interviews and a live acoustic set on the popular BCIT campus
radio station.

They have played crowds throughout BC and Alberta, including three well-received tours across
Western Canada. The band has also lent its talent towards fundraising for worthy causes, through
benefit concerts for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
of Canada. Their music will also be featured in the movie Fear Island.

Finding Friday, highly motivated and intent on furthering their musical careers, have been
constantly writing new music. The material is edgier than the first album and brings in some
fantastic local talent for support. Their latest work, released on April 1st, 2009, is a 5-track special
edition EP titled “Spotlights & Heartstrings”.

So what does the future hold? Finding Friday has plans to infiltrate further into Canada and the
US with an upcoming summer tour. The boys continue to move audiences at live shows around
Vancouver, and are ready to let loose their new music on an ever-expanding fan base!
