Finger of Knowledge

"March of the Whales", the inaugural full-length CD from Finger of Knowledge, is set to be unleashed late August 2008. We are working hard in the studio as you read this, so that every song has that polished pro finish, but still retains the raw live emotion we strive for at every show. Until then, we hope you enjoy our demos.

With influences ranging from Soundgarden to Coldplay, FoK relates many of their concerns toward major world problems with their unique style of musical story-telling. The title track and album name refer to a magical scenario in which Earth's whale population abandon's this pollution-laden planet. "Wars of our World" is an anthem for bringing all military soldiers home safely and quickly, and finding alternative solutions to our problems RATHER than waging wars. In the span of 24 hours in 2006, 16000+ believers went to mp3.com and downloaded "The Day", a song from FoK's original 5-Song EP. Momentum was lost when 2 members parted ways soon after, but the band rebounded and these 3 boys from Ottawa (Micah, Pacitto and Dean) have high hopes for their new album.
