Biography

FINGERSPITZENGEFÜHL from Stockholm, Sweden, plays original heavy rock with a retro touch. It´s brutal and intense, yet groovy and dynamic. Their albums “Fingerspitzengefühl” and "Happy Doomsday" has been highly acclaimed in leading Swedish media, such as Close-Up Magazine, Sweden Rock Magazine and Fingerspitzengefühls music has been played a lot on the national radio. Fingerspitzengefühls frequent gigging has made them a reputation as an adrenalized live act, crushing everything in their way.

BANDS STORY:
Fingerspitzengefühl was formed around a sharp vision of just playing monotous hard riffs.
After signed to Kooljunk Communications,
they did a lot of gigging mostly in Stockholm and a serious attitude towards songwriting come to life and the band recorded and released their debutalbum "Fingerspitzengefühl" late 2004 in Scandinavia and later in 2005 in G.A.S. It got great reviews in metalpress such as Close-Up Magazine(SWE), Sweden Rock Magazine(SWE), Metal Hammer(DE) and Rock Hard(DE).

Their second album "Happy Doomsday" was released in 2006 and recieved great reviews in the media.

"Happy Doomsday" got nominated as best hard rock/punk album at the Swedish independent music awards, Manifest 2007.

In the summer of 2007 Fingerspitzengefühl was chosen by Neurosis to join them as a supportslot when they played in Stockholm.
This show was recorded for a Swedish national radio broadcasting in november 2007.
