Lyrics

Don't dall

Written By: J Finn / R Ward

Don’t Call
Blues Rhythm and Blues
Dur:- 4:30

Been fighting here for 10 long years
War’s taken ‘way most of my fears
My wife is gone, my kids dead too
So I fight on nothing else to do.
They tell me I’m wrong to fight this war
Lies from a people on a four-year tour, I fight for my life nothing more
and that’s why they call me a terrorist.

Well we’re all poor but our country is rich
Oil in abundance just dig a ditch
You want what we’ve got you’ll take it away
And you’ll decide the price you pay and if we want to have a say
The bombs start dropping day on day
And that’s why they call me the terrorist
Not the president, just a terrorist

Solo

Well we all know our lands a mess
The problems ours I’m the first to confess
But you put him in who rules our life
He was on your side now he causes strife
But that’s not fair ‘cause we pay with our life’s
When will you stop with all this shit?
And don’t dare call me a terrorist

Set List

Whilst the band is original it does perform versions of other peoples songs and give them the Finn treatment. The artists that the band cover are as diverse as Clarence Gatemouth Brown to Dobie Gray to Creedence, but all music that the band play has it's roots firmly planted in the blues, so you might have to but some of our CD's to get an idea or just drop into a gig. The song list varies from nite to nite depending on the mood and desires of the audience.
