Just recorded 'The Ukelele Peace Song' with Olympic Clampdown. Invited to write a song for Sly & Robbie's 'Ryhthmns' - London Country Girl' is out there on taxi media. Recently played at London's legendary Klinker Club - haunt of the eclectic and experimental. Apart from my music - which is oddball femme folk - one of the things that sets me apart is my use - for London gigs at any rate - of my BICYCLE as TOUR BUS!!!!! Otherwise, I was the original girl singer with The Communards, and my influences are diverse as Steve Hillage, Spike Jones & the City Slickers, and Clara Schumann and Schoenberg(and that's just the 'S's!). I'm also an actress, and have appeared in BBC TV's 'Eastenders' (right after Martin's cannabis plants!). I grow my own vegetables and fruit in the small back garden of my flat in London and worry about my global footprint....
