Fire at Rivky

Fire at Rivky is made up of quite a diverse group of young and talented musicians, and uses each member's unique influence and background when composing and performing.
Rivky, the lead vocalist of the group, was born and raised in Montreal, although feels constantly inspired by her Middle-Eastern background. This is most apparent in her stage presence!
Mou came to Montreal from Mexico City in 2009 to put the band together. He had with him a guitar and a hefty bag of songs. Mou is not only the lead guitarist of the group, but also the main composer of the music performed.
Justin, the group's rhythm guitarist, is of Irish descent and has been known to be the joker of the group. He keeps the laughter in the air and never misses an opportunity for a good time.
Ivo came to Montreal from the US of A, and brings a certain artsy flare to Fire at Rivky that the group would not otherwise have. This flare can be found within every aspect of him, including his fancy bass playing skills.
Last but certainly not least, Alain hails from haiti, and is the brains of the operation. Lucky for the rest of the band, he brings with him a certain set of organizational skills that the band could not function without. Although his primary role in Fire at Rivky is drumming, he constantly brings new and innovative ideas to the band.
Together, these five individuals form a fun, catchy and unique sound of the folk rock genre. They look forward to doing great things together in the future!
