Firebelly is a modern blues outfit dedicated to fostering Blues & Roots music into the future, while respecting its rich traditions. Its members are fueled by a collective passion to make great music. The music of these four gifted improvisers is pure, raw & spontaneous & no song is ever played exactly the same way twice. Firebelly’s influences range all the way back to early Blues Legends such as Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, B.B. King, Albert King, Freddy King, & Buddy Guy to modern bluesman such as Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Firebelly’s fresh sound is also infused with diverse elements of Funk, Swing, Folk, Zydeco, Roots and Country, resulting in a rich & unique blend that energizes the spirit & soothes the soul!
Firebelly est un ensemble de Blues moderne. Chacun de ses musiciens ont à cœur de faire avancer la musique Blues & Roots, tout en respectant sa riche tradition. La musique de ces 4 improvisateurs passionnés est authentique, organique et spontanée. Firebelly tire sa source des légendes du Blues (Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, B.B.
